Banquet Barback– Mountain Creek

Location: Vernon, NJ         Reporting to: Banquet Manager

About Mountain Creek:

Mountain Creek is a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodging.

How the Banquet  Barback works with the Team:

Ensure proper inventory availability for Bars/Restaurant.

Team Member Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist Bartenders in station set up.
  • Maintain clean glassware throughout the event.
  • Keep the bars stocked with product throughout the event.
  • Maintain clean work areas.
  • Assist the bar staff with bar breakdown and cleaning.
  • Support our mission through consistent teamwork, a positive employee experience, earned customer loyalty, mutual respect and continuously striving to be the best.
  • Keep the bar stocked with ice throughout the event.
  • Effectively and consistently deliver necessary items to bartenders.
  • Deliver all products following all safety procedures.
  • Stock and maintain adequate inventory in designated workstation.
  • Present a well-groomed image and wear the appropriate uniform and name tag at all times when on duty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

 

Team Member Qualifications:

 

 

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Professional, mature, and friendly demeanor
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous food service experience a plus
  • Must have knowledge of basic cleanliness and sanitation practices
