We’re looking for a determined Senior Legal Counsel who will be working to provide the best legal support to Snow and its affiliates globally and ensure that the company’s interests are represented according to the laws and regulations both internally and externally.
Your daily tasks will entail:- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating US and international commercial contracts, which includes having a good understanding and judgment on the company's key legal risks and concerns, as well as working with different departments to get their inputs
- Working regularly with Sales and other teams that require legal advice for different projects
- Working with international legal matters and having the ability to manage and assess local and international legal risks and concerns related to the company’s business
- Supporting other teams globally to establish, review, and manage various initiatives that need legal support, which may require project management and clear communication skills
- Conduct legal research in various areas
- Perform other tasks assigned by the General Counsel
Below is a list of formal requirements, but what matters most is that you’re ready to master your knowledge and actively provide legal support to other teams.
What we expect from you:
- 5 years of experience working in-house or at a law firm (preferably a combination of both)
- J.D degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Bar
- Excellent commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to identify and manage any business-related legal issues and risks
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex legal issues with the business partners
- The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, work with deadlines, and show accountability
- Experience in working with legal technology and willingness to learn about the fast-developing print-on-demand industry and e-commerce
- The ability to work independently but also be a great team player
- Previous experience working in an international company will be considered an advantage
