JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: HR Generalist
Reports to: CEO
FLSA: Non Exempt
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting multiple HR functions for the organization and clients.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Assist CEO and Consultants with projects.
- Mentor and guide HR Assistant(s)
- Conduct research for legal compliance based on the jurisdiction of the client.
- Provide HR support to clients in one or more of these service areas:
- Classification & Compensation
- Conduct job analysis
- Conduct market analysis
- Conduct compensation analysis
- Establish pay structure and grade assignments
- Create compensation policy
- Review and revise job descriptions
- Training & Development
- Assess training needs
- Develop customized training
- Deliver training virtually or in person
- HR Audit & Assistance
- Audit HR department for best practices and compliance
- Conduct KSA analysis of staff
- Create and report on employee engagement surveys
- Manage HRIS system
Other Duties/Responsibilities: Attend trade shows and market business services
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of HR principles for recruitment, staffing, training & compensation

- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Word

- Proficient in Google Workspace, Google Docs and Gmail
- Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportationPreferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of federal and tribal employment law
- Knowledge of tribal government structure
- Knowledge of HRIS and/or recruiting system(s)
- Knowledge of Bamboo HR
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
- Five years’ experience in multiple disciplines of human resources.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Prefer SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
- Must obtain Tribal Human Resource Professional Certification within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Will be required to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
