Head Coach

Responsible For: Overseeing day to day operations of Soccer 5 Palm Beach Academy including on-site administration, assisting & informing new & current players with any academy related need.

Main Duties:

• Help Academy achieve player registration targets for 2023/2024
• Hire well qualified coaches as needed
• Ensure coaches follow USSF youth soccer guidelines in their practices
• Hold monthly coaches meetings to review progress and update curriculum as needed
• Track and report player attendance on a daily basis
• Ensure coaches are effectively communicating with players, parents and other coaches
• Assist & inform new players with tryouts and registration
• Assist with on time payment collection from new & current players
• Inform parents and coaches about any changes with academy
• Send registration and payment reports to Senior Management on a weekly basis
• Follow up with players pending payments after due date with assistance from team
• Assign new players to teams and promote players as required
• Setup and breakdown fields for practice
• Manage teams participation in youth leagues and tournaments
• Assist with organization & management of Soccer 5 camps (seasonal)
• Assist management as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• USSF Coach Coach Certification
• Passionate about soccer, coaching and customer service
• Flexible, friendly, hardworking and also enjoy interacting with both children and adults
• Organizational skills, drive and initiative
• Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Eagerness to grow in the organization
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google software
• Social media experience strongly preferred - Twitter, Facebook Instagram
• Must have reliable transportation
• Bilingual (ENG-SPA) essential

Schedule:

• Mondays - Fridays from 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM onsite coaching and supervising
• Saturdays and Sundays as required by league/tournament schedules
• 20 - 30 hours per week

Compensation:

• Salary: $1000
• Bonus: Negotiable after 6 months

Payment Date:

• End of calendar month
