Director of Partner Service

Soccer Shots is positioned as the best-in-class children’s soccer program with a focus on character development, for ages 2-8.  We also look to develop motor skills and teamwork. Our goal is simple: leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve. We want Soccer Shots to be the BEST 30 - 45 minutes of each friend’s week.  Soccer Shots is a national program with over 170 territories across 34 states. 

In 2017 Soccer Shots Memphis was started with the desire to serve children and families through the game of soccer. Using the world's most popular game, we were given the  opportunity to form relationships and invest in children in ways that are far beyond just the game of soccer. In Soccer Shots Memphis time, we have been amazed at the stories and experiences we've shared with families all over the the area as we work together to provide a long-lasting and positive soccer experience for our soccer friends. SSMEM runs sessions Monday through Saturday at preschools and parks all over the Memphis, Arlington, Cordova, Bartlett, Germantown, Collierville and surrounding areas, all year round. 

Job Description

The Director of Partner Services is responsible for representing Soccer Shots in the community, as well as securing new locations to expand the Soccer Shots program. The DoPS is responsible for creating yearly goals that align with Soccer Shots Memphis' vision, as well as executing those goals. The DoPS is a full time position, requiring someone who is willing to work in an office environment, as well as having the ability to travel to our partner locations, and new potential locations, cultivating and maintaining a strong relationship.

Responsibilities

• Creating certain number of partnerships each quarter. These partnerships may include new Childcare locations, new public park locations, or new private park locations.
• Maintaining current partnerships. The DoPS is responsible for assuring that all current partnerships are maintained. 
• Special Events. The DoPS is responsible for planning and executing special events. Special events may occur on weekends or during the evening hours, which the Director of Partner Service would need to make themselves available for.

      • Fun Fest
      • Open Houses
      • Birthday Parties
• Transitioning Coaches to New Locations
• The Director of Partner Service is expected to be in the Office during any hours during the workday that they are not coaching, selling, or maintaining relationships. Additional duties that they may have may include:
  • • • • Office Hours: 9am - 5pm
        • Public Program Planning. 
        • Identifying new partnership opportunities
        • Organize and deliver final reminders 
        • Weekly Level 10 Meetings with Leadership Team 

Requirements

• Ability to pass a Federal and State background check and FBI fingerprinting 
• Reliable transportation to get yourself to your classes in the Greater Memphis Area

Compensation 

• Salary starting between $27,500 - $29,000
• This position does not include medical or retirement benefits. Paid vacation is available as approved by the Executive Director of Soccer Shots Memphis.
