SOCIAL VOCATIONAL SERVICES

Job coaches work in developmental disabilities institutes that offer vocational training. Sometimes we work one on one with our clients or in a small group. A Job coach provides job readiness training, on-the-job support to clients to help them adjust to the workplace. Full time and Part-time positions available.
Social Vocational Services (SVS) is an innovative day program that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide training & support necessary for those who participate in the services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational & residential goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn the specific job tasks the clients will be required to perform
- Perform some job tasks during the time clients are in the initial learning phase.
- Set-up natural supports at the workplace
- Track and document billable hours
- Educate and assist clients with company policies and procedures
- Participate in clients’ planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports
- Mandated Abuse Reporter
*Hiring bonus! $750 after your 60th day of full attendance.*
Mileage Allowance Medical, Dental, Vision, 403 B, Holidays and Paid Personal Leave
Must obtain & maintain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance, clean DMV driving record and pass a job related physical.
