Sodexo has an opportunity for a Healthcare Technology Management Client Executive for a major hospital system (4 facilities) located in Charleston, WV.

This position will provide strategic leadership to ensure client satisfaction and account retention. The ideal candidate will be a strategic-minded leader together with entrepreneurial spirit, and able to merge the clients’ vision and expectations into Sodexo’s mission of providing outstanding quality of life services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) services for this system. This position interacts with multiple clients therefore we are seeking candidates that exhibit exceptional client relationship skills with internal and external customer relations expertise.
As a Client Executive, you will oversee a team of 4 locations as well as clinics, while maintaining a professional business relationship with the client by directly negotiating contracts and matters pertaining to account operations. The successful candidate will ensure financial performance and goals of the accounts and district are met. In addition, the Client Executive will oversee compliance to all company/client policies and procedures, and government regulations and monitor unit operation to ensure the highest quality of products and services.
The Client Executive is a trusted advisor central to the client partnership and key to delivering results that meet client needs. Has direct accountability for operational excellence ‐ achieved by delivering on our contractual obligations and our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.
Knowledge of the HTM industry, regulations and compliance is required.
HTM Client Executive responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Directors, Biomedical Equipment Technicians & Imaging Service Engineers whilst providing support services for a vast number of clinical modalities within the biomedical, imaging and laboratory spaces
- Communication of critical information and decisions as appropriate and responding to requests from the client and Sodexo Healthcare Technology Management leadership with a sense of efficiency and urgency
- Overseeing hiring, placement and training for technicians and other staff within the HTM department while maintaining a strong focus on retention and team development
- Developing and maintaining strategic client relationships with the C-suite and senior management that fosters business growth, establish regular communications and drive business outcomes
- Making informed decisions to drive service delivery outcomes to the satisfaction of key client stakeholders throughout the hospital
- Managing the program in compliance with Sodexo standards and the account scope of service per the contract
- Works with speed and agility focused on the key drivers of the business to ensure long term sustainable growth.
- Ensuring compliance with all Joint Commission, OHSA and other local, state, and federal government regulations
- Providing counsel to client regarding purchases of new capital equipment, end of life cycle, etc.
- Seeking out new, innovative ways to streamline client business initiatives within the assigned accounts
- Must be able to excel in highly matrix organization and effective team builder. C-suite presence and acumen is differentiator in this role
- Must be able to navigate with multiple clients within the same organization (especially CIO/CISO’s) and accompany change
- Executes strategic plan by implementing short and long-term goals that align with the scope of service, mission and values.
- Develops a business plan and budget with each account Director that supports client and Sodexo goals.
- Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data, operating reports, budget variance reports, and other appropriate financial information to monitor attainment of financial goals.
- Must have some business acumen on Cyber Security / IoMT and drive project teams tied to it
- Provides positive and constructive feedback to employees by coaching, mentoring, counseling or corrective guidance and action, as appropriate.
- Reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and Sodexo/Client policies and procedures.
- Monitors operations by visiting the unit to plan projects, implement new processes and technology, and to ensure sufficient unit resources.
- Ensures a safe work environment for employees by enforcing the execution of all safety programs and makes recommendations for changes as necessary.
- Deploys, embeds and ensures standardized processes that are predictable, reliable, and repeatable to deliver growth.
- Optimizes relationships to enhance customer service and fiscal stability of the business relationship through use of the Clients for Life tools and resources. Effectively partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., regions, functions, Health Care Market, NORAM, and Group) to drive successful, cross‐functional outcomes.
- Sets operational goals with key metrics and ensure quick analysis of any variances to ensure a prompt resolution and mitigate impact on our clients or our performance.
- Delivers predictable top and bottom line results at the site, relentless focus on driving efficiency, an edge in execution, and makes difficult decisions.
- Brings insightful analysis to issues. Uses logic in decision making to determine best solutions for the business.
- Assesses financial risk and opportunities of the account and communicates results to the client and Sodexo senior management, initiates action plans as necessary.
- Develops rigorous plans to continually enhance employee engagement and recognition.
- Displays rigor around talent management. Ensures appropriate talent is deployed and effective succession planning, development plans, career pathing and contingency plans are in place for all key positions.
- Analyzes data such as workforce planning, employee engagement, etc. to engage in data driven decision making around talent.
- Creates a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Drives a clear culture of performance management accountability across the business. Sets clear expectations and provides timely and relevant feedback to direct reports (for developing and improving performance) and holds them accountable for doing the same with their teams.
- Leadership and execution of Sodexo operating strategy. Provides insight and understanding, brings value and knowledge to our client(s) business and is a trusted advisor to them.
- Remains true to overall Sodexo corporate initiatives and expectations.
