Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at HCA Kingwood.
Position will report to the General Manager at HCA Kingwood and ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years of experience required. Prior management experience preferred.
- Be responsible for assisting CNM with managerial tasks and duties.
- Have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction results and driving process improvement activities.
- Work on various patient population floors with various disease states, including critical care. Conduct nutrition assessments, perform nutrition-focused physical exams, provide nutrition support recommendations and diet education as needed.
- Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process and documenting in the electronic medical record.
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Be able to be flexible, a team player, and possess good time management skills.
- Participates and provides input in QAPI projects and committees including P&T Committee, medical rounds, medical record audits and patient services audits as requested.
- Promotes food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.

- Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met.
- May provide direct nutrition care to population served
- Establishes and executes operating standards, implements quality improvements, manages the budget and communicates them to other departments.
- Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services.
- Promotes nutrition services and stays current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
- Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel).
- Assists in the development of new business service(s) for the client, regional or national initiatives, projects, and implements the service program(s).
