Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Executive Chef 2 to lead our team at HCA Houston North Cypress located in Cypress, TX. Located along the 290 corridor, HCA North Cypress is a 163-bed, general acute care hospital offering comprehensive medical services.
The Executive Chef 2 will be a strategic leader overseeing kitchen operations, inventory management, managing food costs and budgets, ensuring food safety by conducting audits and following HACCP guidelines throughout all production areas, and meeting client satisfaction while implementing business practices in order to uphold commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.

- a proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
- ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP;
- C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) a plus.

What We Offer

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Position Summary
Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. Key Duties- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.- Manages catering & retail areas.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.- Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
