Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 6 for SSM Health St Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The General Manager will provide Food & Nutrition oversight for this 360-bed level 1 trauma hospital. The General Manager will direct all retail, catering, and patient feeding services with four managers directly reporting to them. The GM will also be responsible for fostering and maintaining an exceptional relationship with the client and frontline team.

- direct and oversee all food service day-to-day operations;
- successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- develop strategic plans;
- work hands-on with the team to ensure safety and sanitation (HACCP) compliance; developing and mentoring; engaging and fostering culture;
- have daily interaction with patients, their families and the clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;

The ideal candidate will have:
- food service management experience in a contract-services, healthcare, or high-volume hospitality environment;
- strong leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop frontline staff;
- culinary and/or food service experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrated professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and self-motivated;
- a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team;
- proven ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
