Looking to start a rewarding career in the Mining sector? Sodexo have several opportunities for Service Attendants. This is the perfect opportunity to build your remote site experience with the opportunity to rotate through various duties.
As part of our Service Attendant remote site teams, you will contribute to the day-to-day operations of a mine site by providing excellent customer service to improve the quality of life of guests at their home away from home.
Who are we looking for?
Our Service Attendants are team players. They have a can-do attitude, are flexible to work across many departments (Housekeeping, Kitchen or Mine Site Cleaning) and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. You are the 'backbone' of our remote sites team. You’ll contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers, ensuring that each experience is as close to that feeling of being in a home away from home. The is a Full Time DIDO role from Bowen, Mackay, Suttor and surrounding region. Our Service Attendant are required to work 2:1 roster consisting of 10 hours per shift.
To be successful, you’ll need:
Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in hospitality such as catering, housekeeping, grounds maintenance, cleaning or bar and retail. Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day.
