Unit Description

Are you ready for an exciting challenge in the Finance field? Sodexo is seeking a Unit Controller for located in Inwood, WV.  This is a hands-on position and does not have direct reports.  Working as a true Financial Analyst this role will provide commercial oversight over the cost of delivery of services in accordance with the financial terms of the contract.  Reporting to the Director of Facilities Operations, you will support one mega, new, state of the art, manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will:

• coordinating the budget and reporting variances, controlling expenditures and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations,
• coordinating financial audits, forecasting, flash, month end close entries,
• financial review and analysis, cash entries, vendor contract management,
• A/P management and A/R aging review
• cash management
• client billing
• credit card invoicing
• fixed asset entries
• Other duties as assigned

• work independently and demonstrate organization and comprehension skills;
• ability to perform and maintain core responsibilities/accountabilities while simultaneously involved in other department initiatives;
• demonstrate analytical ability, Excel skills and Essbase experience; and/or
• have strong interpretation skills, as well as strong verbal & written communication skills.
• demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract.
• have prior accounting experience with working in a Contract Management, Manufacturing or Facilities Management environment. 
• exposure to multiple systems and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, analytics, forms) for financial use is essential.
• ability to demonstrate exceptional client relation and communication skills, responsiveness with the ability to resolve problems and questions quickly, efficiently, accurately and professionally

Position Summary

Manages all accounting and financial matters for one or more accounts/units. Includes accounts payable/receivable, budget, payroll, reporting, inventory, chargebacks, etc. Performs trend analysis to assist decision making.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
