Title: QA Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, AZ - 85260

Duration of the contract: 6 – 7 Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: Mon – Fri 1^st shift

Pay: $24.46/h

Job Description:

This position assists the Quality, Materials and Engineering with various support projects and tasks. This includes prioritizing the review of documentation of inspected product lots, keeping Materials/Engineering informed of the status of lots in Inspection/Material Review Board/Quarantine, coordinating NCRs, ensuring lots with Deviations are documented and processed properly, directing and conducting review of medical devices related documentation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews incoming inspection documentation, transfers data into the ERP system and ensures appropriate prioritization of inspection activities.
• Conducts device history review processes to established procedures.
• Organizes and reports Final Release and Quality Hold results.
• Scan and file quality records.
• Coordinate storage of hard copy archived documents both on and off site.
• Assist various departments with document retrieval as needed.

Expected Areas of Competence:

• Good understanding of engineering drawings utilizing Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) required.
• Must have demonstrated ability to use shop math techniques (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions).
• Ability to complete a high-volume data entry.
• Working knowledge of word and excel.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in quality functions (preferred).
