Title: Director of Nursing (DON) Location: Gallup, NM 87301 Duration: 13 Weeks Contract Shift: 8am to 5pm Guaranteed hrs. /week: 40
Responsibilities Include:
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department.
Review nurses' notes to ensure proper documentation is maintained relating to the resident's treatment, medications, and conditions.
Make daily rounds for observation of the care of residents.
Talking with physicians and visiting selected residents.
Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator in planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAP's and triggers.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse RN with over a years' experience in nurse leadership of a long-term care setting as DON.
Covid Vaccine required upon hiring.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations: Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Gallup, NM 87301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
