Solerity is seeking a Software Developer (Data Manager) to join our team. This multifaceted position requires the ability to apply ingenuity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in the development and implementation of software programs. Roles and responsibilities include analyzing applications, testing and refining computer software, assisting with program documentation, and providing technical direction to meet deadlines.
- Perform as a software developer and technologist, delivering software enhancements and supporting multiple programming languages used for web applications
- Provide analysis and conduct research to find resolutions to requirements, production issues and data discrepancies.
- Develop code requirements that involve ETL and/or DB changes.
- Determine and identify high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of enterprise architecture.
- Identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements, including hardware and software updates or upgrades.
- Work with project management to plan build schedules and provide technical direction.
- Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.
- Ensure systems are compatible and compliant with the standards for open system and DoD architectures.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to pass a Government Secret Clearance background check
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security
- Source code languages to include Java, Java Script, Python, HTML, C#, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of image files and other binary assets
- Knowledge of configuration files, web service specifications, and API specifications required for a system
- Knowledge of Cloud, AWS, and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of database scripts required to create and update a database
- Functional and behavioral test/expected results such as Selenium
- Ability to sample data to satisfy necessary tests
- Experience with end-to-end system development, as well as support of live production systems
- Experience writing unit tests to provide code coverage
- Knowledge of database technology (SQL Server, Oracle), including stored procedures and indexes
