Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) North Carolina

VocoVision has partnered with a school district in North Carolina who is urgently looking to contract out a Speech-Language Pathologist position.

Employment Type: 

  • 22/23 school year
  • 1099 contract position
  • Fully Remote
  • Full Time: 40 hours/ week
  • K-12 students
  • Mild to Moderate caseload

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree (CCC’s)
  • Current SLP license in NC.
  • NC Teaching Certification required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
    • Bilingual candidates wanted!!
  • Must pass criminal background check.
  • At least 2 years of recent school’s experience.
  • Some Tech savviness needed.
  • Professional Liability Insurance required.
  • ESA needed to start direct services.

 
General Duties: 

  • Under general direction, identifies, evaluates, and prepares remedial activities for student who exhibit speech-language disorders; participates in the development of individualized goals and objectives; and evaluates student progress all in a virtual environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the development of curriculum guides and local policies related to speech and language handicaps.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately in both written and oral forms in all aspects of instruction and employment.
  • Provide speech/language services to students in their classrooms via HIPPA/FERPA compliant platform:
    • By working with a student(s) individually and/or in small group. 

 
Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Helps instill in students and staff the belief in and practice of ethical principles.
  • Train Facilitator regarding best practices in Teletherapy setting.
    • Candidate will be trained by internal VocoVision clinical supervisors*
