What are the responsibilities and job description for the Smyrna, DE: Pediatric OT position at Soliant Health?
Calling on Occupational Therapists who take pride in working with kids who need the most help! Soliant is working with a school in the area of Smyrna, DE to place a contract OT, who will provide occupational therapy to children and young adults with significant needs.
Applicants will be assigned to a Special Needs school, working with 3 to 21 year-olds who have low-functioning ASD and may present behavioral challenges.
We seek applicants with the following qualities:
- Ability to maintain composure in exceptional situations
- Solution-oriented attitude and ability to manage priorities
- Good organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Good rapport with children, teenagers, as well as parents, caregivers, and staff
- Ability to manage and work with the team
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Delaware OT license (Soliant can provide guidance in this process)
- Previous experience with similar population helpful
