Location : Algonquin, IL
Dates : May 29th - June 27th, 2024
Hours : 20 hours per week (8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Caseload / Details :
- Three self-contained classrooms
- Number of Positions : 3
Work Setting : Onsite
Special Requirements :
Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
About the Role : As a Special Education Teacher for the extended school year contract in Algonquin, IL, you will have the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Your role will involve creating and implementing individualized education plans,facilitating student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement specialized instructional plans tailored to students' unique needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in self-contained classrooms
- Collaborate with related service providers, parents, and other school staff to address students' academic and behavioral goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress towards IEP goals
