Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified LSSP for the 2024-2025 school year in the Chappell Hill, TX area. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students through comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay informed about best practices in school psychology and contribute to a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Texas licensure or certification as an LSSP.
- Experience in conducting assessments and providing interventions in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
