Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in Indiana
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- IEP experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients functional abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address clients occupational therapy needs
- Provide direct therapy services to clients to improve motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, and other areas of occupation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support clients educational and developmental goals
- Monitor clients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made by clients
