Job Summary :
Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional to join our team. The Paraprofessional will work in a school setting, providing support to students.
Experience working with students withbehavior is required. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and have the necessary experience, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing behavior intervention plans for students withbehavior.
- Provide one-on-one support to students during classroom activities and transitions, helping to reinforce positive behaviors and redirect negative behaviors.
- Collaborate with school staff and behavior specialists to create a supportive and structured learning environment for students with aggressive behavior.
- Monitor student progress and collect data on behavior interventions, communicating regularly with teachers and behavior support team members.
- Support students with academic tasks and activities as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience working with students in an educational or behavioral health setting required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
