Qualifications :
Associate's Degree or ParaPro PEL License required
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Document daily interactions and monitor student performance, including behavioral observations, under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Perform instructional support as designated by the principal and teacher, which may involve using technology with the assigned student(s).
- Assist the assigned student(s) in completing tasks throughout the school day in multiple learning environments.
- Supervise play activities or group games when the intent is recreational rather than instructional.
- Supervise and escort students throughout the school building during the school day.
- Participate in professional development as provided by the district.
- Perform all related tasks as directed by the principal, teacher, and / or medical department.
