Pharmacy Technician Long Term Care (Contract-to-Hire) MA
Location: Outside of Boston
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts Available:
1. Day Shift: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
2. Evening Shift: 4 PM - 12:30 AM
Rotating weekends required
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and fill prescriptions accurately
- Pick and stage medications for delivery
- Create emergency kits (E-kits)
- Manage inventory and remove out-of-date items
- Perform multi-dose bubble/blister packing
- Handle data entry, billing, and prior authorization tasks as needed
Software:
- Frameworks
Experience:
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting
Licenses:
- MA Pharmacy Technician License required
- PTCB Certification preferred
Application Requirements:
- One reference from a pharmacy manager
- Copy of MA license and PTCB (if applicable)
- Note any requested time off (RTO) during the contract period
