Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Kansas City. As a school-based SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in students, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and objectives
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Missouri
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is desired but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
