A School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position has opened in our school district. We are currently sourcing for candidates who are interested in the following setting. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and wellness of our students and staff while ensuring a positive and healthy school environment.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Nurse to ride the bus with a student. This unique role involves acpanying the student on the bus to school in the morning and riding the bus home with them in the afternoon.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Must have valid PA LPN license.
- Must be CPR and BLS certified.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or schools preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Acpany the student with a seizure disorder on the bus to school in the morning and ensure their safe arrival.
- Provide assistance and support to the student during the bus ride, addressing any medical needs that may arise.
- Monitor the student's condition throughout the bus ride and be prepared to respond promptly in the event of a medical emergency.
- municate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Ride the bus home with the student in the afternoon, providing any necessary medical support during the journey.
You will receive an individualized pensation package that fits your needs, an hourly rate that is based upon your experience level, and youll be paid on a weekly basis.
