Description: We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team, serving Special Education classrooms and munity schools. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work with K-12th grade students, providing essential psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role also involves consultative work with teachers, parents, and administrators, as well as prehensive report writing.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students across K-12th grade.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective educational plans.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff on students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavioral interventions and support plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, ensuring pliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor student progress and outes, adjusting interventions and remendations as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in conducting psych-evaluations and writing prehensive reports.
- Strong understanding of Special Education regulations and IEP processes.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Dedication to advocating for the educational and psychological needs of students.
