As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech and language services to clients of various ages. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Implement therapy plans and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to support client goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
