Job Summary : Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 24 / 25 school year in Georgetown, SC.
The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with a variety of disabilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to meet individual goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and IEP compliance.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is advantageous.
- Certification : Must hold an active or pending Special Education teaching certification in the state of South Carolina.
- Skills : Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
