Job Description:
We are currently seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team nearWadsworth, IL. These positions are full-time and offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and integration of therapy goals
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' goals
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of speech language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Strong knowledge and understanding of speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
