Position: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Near Hiram, OH
Job Description: We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year nearHiram, OH. This is a part-time position, consisting of 1-2 days per week, with approximately 5-10 hours of work during elementary school hours (9am-3pm). The schedule can be designed flexibly, but once determined, it must remain consistent. The caseload will be determined based on the availability of the candidate, with a focus on servicing students in grades K-6 who have speech and/or language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, and expressive language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Attend meetings and participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certification from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of assessments, interventions, and best practices in speech-language pathology
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Schedule and Compensation:
- Part-time position: 1-2 days per week, approximately 5-10 hours during elementary school hours
- Schedule to be determined based on candidate availability
- Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience
Salary : $68,800 - $87,100
