What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply & Replenishment Planner position at Soliant?
Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Supply & Replenishment Planner to join our Integrated Business Management team. This position will be responsible for leading and managing the tactical and strategic activities over the entire planning horizon which is typically 18 - 24 months, periodically extended to support strategic planning.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Supply & Replenishment Planner:
- Replenishment and inventory control.
- Reviews inventory levels and sales data, along with planned promotional activity to forecast demand.
- Maintains inventory levels of assigned sku’s at proper levels.
- Coordinates and schedules with logistics proper dates and times for orders to be picked up or backhauled to their appropriate warehouse.
- Keeps accurate records of the weekly, monthly and yearly inventory movements.
- Maintains open communications with our sales/marketing teams to ensure all demands are met through promotional timeframes.
- Input transfer orders into the system to be used for scheduling purposes at Utz manufacturing plants.
- Coordinates with sales/marketing on new item introductions or changes and communicates with all departments.
- Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
- Works with management and fellow associates to ensure food safety programs are followed.
- Reports food, office or operational safety problems to a supervisor or manager for initiating action.
- Performs other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.
