POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Scientist will collaborate closely with various teams to help define solution strategy, establish requirements, drive capability, make informed technology decisions, and help execute the product and development roadmaps that ensure the solution’s business viability and outcomes are met. This role will also provide support for the design and development of the company’s data warehouse, and the development of related business intelligence dashboards and visualizations. The job duties involve profiling data, developing data transformation jobs and processes, measuring data quality, designing data warehouse data models, evaluating usability, testing data models, and developing business intelligence visualizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with key business stakeholders to understand the analytical needs of the business and providing insight in a rapid, iterative, and collaborative process
- Review/Analyze new incoming data, review for quality/accuracy, and build out initial ETL pipelines and automation.
- Develop thoughtful reports and dashboards that help Operations teams improve their business decision-making
- Maintain & update critical compliance reports
- Identify patterns in the analyses you conduct, and using those patterns to improve our tools and processes so we can deliver results more quickly and accurately
- Communicate results to an audience of mixed technical backgrounds
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- 2 years of individual technical contributor experience
- Experience collaborating effectively with stakeholders
- SSRS, PowerBI, and MS Excel proficiency
- Advanced SQL skills
- Equally comfortable building dashboards and reports for KPIs, and doing deep-dive statistical analysis to influence the business
- Experience with CMS ODAG and Part C reporting preferred
- 1 years of healthcare and/or MA plan experience
Healthcare experience, or experience working for a Medicare Advantage plan preferred.
