Vice president delivery

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to join our team as the Vice President of Enterprise Solution Delivery.

In this unique role, you will lead software engineering, business analysts, QA analysts, and our data & analytics team. This role has the exciting opportunity to delivering comprehensive solutions to address evolving business needs.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of innovative and impactful solutions to address the internal needs and challenges of our organization, as well as integrations with our healthcare partners.

This will include our digital patient experience, system integrations and interoperability, business intelligence, as well as healthcare-specific FHIR and HL7 integrations with our partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise solution delivery, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful delivery initiatives in a complex organizational environment.

Results measured by the following responsibilities : Strategic Leadership Provide strategic leadership and direction for the enterprise solution delivery function that shares the vision and value of how the team’s work directly enables the Solis mission and organizational goals.

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for delivering high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization Focus on continuous improvement in solution delivery processes, methodologies, and practice Instill strong SDLC practices and Agile principles into the team’s operating model Drive innovation and technological advancement within the software development / engineering teams.

Possess strong financial acumen and a budget mindset with focus on project management and budget accountability; be able to articulate business and investment needs to demonstrate ROI Digital Leadership Vision and Purpose : Seek to establish alignment and focus across the enterprise.

Create high-impact capabilities to address dynamic business conditions with relentless focus on stakeholder and customer needs.

Process Improvement : Embrace change, iteration, and ideation; encourage thinking differently to bring fresh perspective to long-standing business challenges.

Innovation : Challenge current state in appropriate manner and utilize digital solutions to enable business outcomes, data assets, patient experience, employee experience, and operational excellence.

Patient Experience : Champion the voice of the patient and deliver innovative solutions to improve and enhance the customer experience.

Partner with functional teams to prioritize initiatives that increase patient engagement. Team Building and Development Build and lead a high-performing team of solution delivery professionals.

Promote a culture that embraces change and innovation; establish business service orientation, accountability and focus on supporting a complex and rapidly evolving business landscape.

Further embed agile methodologies across the technology function to increase the pace of solution delivery & accelerate innovation Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development Support the team and the organization in navigating the ongoing ambiguity associated with technology change and a rapidly growing organization.

Develop the required skills to create an effective technology organization for the future. Execution and Delivery Develop, foster, and evangelize enterprise solutions and application delivery methodologies and strategies aligned with overall business goals.

implement best practices and processes to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality. Design for scale & growth; approach solution delivery with an eye toward scalable, sustainable solutions designed for a much larger organization.

Oversee the deployment of company-wide technology standards and ensure compliance with company policies and standards aimed at maximizing effectiveness and minimizing costs related to the acquisition, implementation and operation of IT systems Evaluate, select, and implement new technology (hardware, software and services) needed to support evolving needs, especially as it relates to mobile technology.

Establish the BI and analytics infrastructure, processes, and data governance ecosystem in a scalable and extensible manner.

Collaboration & Influence Engage in cross-functional collaboration to maximize alignment and results. The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, influence outcomes and negotiate across a matrix environment is important.

Establish meaningful relationships across the organization to understand business and identify opportunities for new solutions.

Create an environment to facilitate greater business outcomes through ideas, coupled with high quality delivery Technical Excellence Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development / engineering.

Drive technical excellence and innovation across the organization. Champion the adoption of modern development practices, tools, and methodologies.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS : Proven ability to energize, develop, and lead a high-performing team Excellent organizational, advanced analytical, presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization system-wide A track record of success communicating technical information to non-technical audiences;
• demonstrates experience in gaining the confidence of senior leadership Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;

MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus. Proven experience (5-7 years) in a leadership role within software development / engineering, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.

Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, technologies, and tools. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
