Cogir Senior Living is hiring a friendly, diligent, and energetic Night Porter in one of our beautiful retirement communities in Washington.
Our Night Porter is responsible for fulfilling assigned housekeeping duties in the general areas of the community as well as some light general maintenance. The position is full-time with 4 x 10-hour shifts. The schedule is Friday through Monday nights - 7:30 pm - 6 am.

What will you do as a Night Porter?
- Operate floor cleaning machines, cleaning hard surfaces and carpets, as directed.
- Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary, including empty apartments, common areas, and outside spaces.
- Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas of the establishment.
- Follow community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines, following established safety precautions.
- Report all repair requests or safety hazards.
- Laundry duties as assigned.
- Assure that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
- Perform routine building maintenance rounds as directed, completing tasks like painting, wall patching, floor care, pressure washing, basic plumbing repairs, etc.
- Work within the legal scope of local and state codes.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Prior maintenance experience is a plus with a general maintenance skillset, including drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, painting, and floor care.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, cleaning equipment.
- Previous experience working in commercial property, Hotel, Independent Living (IL), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
