Job Description:

As a Knowledge Base Administrator you will be responsible for managing, updating and continual maintenance of our community knowledge base which will benefit all Solo platform users. You will also be a novice SEO professional in measuring web traffic and optimizing content to drive traffic and delivering meaningful content. Gaining solar industry knowledge and experience so you can properly interview industry professionals and paint a clear picture of the landscape based on their views. This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Revenue. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage, update, and maintain our Knowledge Base and Community as needed
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Success, and Product to ensure cross-functional benefit to Solo platform users
  • Research industry-related topics with the ability to tell which will be beneficial for Solo platform users
  • Prepare well-structured drafts
  • Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in various content
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content
  • Identify customers’ needs via our platform and recommend new topics
  • Coordinate with graphic designer and/or other graphic resources to illustrate articles
  • Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)



Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications, or related field experience required.
  • 2-5 years of proven work experience as a Web Manager, Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Able to manage Google Drive, Docs, and general internet proficiency
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (Forumbee, ZenDesk, etc.)
  • Professional ability in writing, editing, and proofing written English
  • An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
  • Time-management skills
