Established Certified Public Accounting firm in Baltimore is looking for a Bookkeeper\Accounting Assistant with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to join our team of conscientious and hardworking professionals. Candidate will be part of our outsourced accounting services team and provide bookkeeping services for our clients as well as providing support for accounting,tax and billing functions within our office.
Typical tasks:
- Managing the full cycle of bookkeeping/accounting activities for our clients, including processing vendor accounts payable and receivables
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger
- Prepare subcontractor 1099's and any other IRS year-end reporting requirements
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
- Maintenance of vendor files
- Credit card management and reconciliation
- Assist with preparation of tax returns and financial statements including scanning and gathering of information
- Assist with billing and accounts receivables
- Special projects as request
This is a full time permanent position. Successful candidate must come to our office or travel to local clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
