Responsibilities:
- A/R claims follow up-Commercial, Government, HMO, Medicaid, Medicare Payors, and workers compensation.
- Denials and appeals with all payers.
- Manage account receivable trends to include cash collections and report AR denial trends.
- Conduct research for payor guidelines or appeal steps
- Ability to escalate and promptly resolve claims to applicable state and federal regulations
- Read and understand an EOB
- Good customer service skills
- Will have a Medical Billing Certificate
- 3-5 years of Billing experience in a large Medical Office or Hospital setting
- Should be proficient with all the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel and enjoy a high volume work environment
