Project Estimator

Our engineering client located near Lansdale, PA is seeking a Project Estimator onsite Monday through Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth. Position requires 10% travel.

Responsibilities of the Project Estimator

• Estimate bids for engineering projects
• Overseeing bidding process
• Must have AutoCAD experience
• Review specifications, and drawings to create accurate cost estimates for projects meeting submittal deadline
• Update and maintain Design Configuration and cost estimating tools to determine cost estimates
• Make suggestions to streamline and take cost effective measures while adhering to customers specifications
• Collaborate with internal teams including procurement and engineering to determine costs and efficiency
• Provide draft language for scope of work
• Work with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to gather information for quotes
• Maintaining regular communications with Tech Sales Engineers and other internal members to explain cost estimating methods for project
• Manage several project cost estimates and meet deadline
• Assisting with customer plans and specifications
• Other duties as required.

Requirements of the Project Estimator

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-5 years related experience
• AutoCAD experience
• Inventor, and Acrobat proficiency a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and able to meet deadlines

Additional Details:

Salary: $65-80k

Salary range $33.65/ HR W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
