What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist position at Solsten?

As a Psychologist, you will work as part of the research and development team bringing in your expertise on the human mind and behavior. You will work on creating new, innovative ways to operationalize and measure psychological traits and experiences, as well as conducting research with the team to rethink and reinvent, for example, diagnosing mental health conditions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create psychometric assessments for measurement of e.g. personality traits, gaming and user experiences, mental health etc.
  • Work closely with a team of psychometricians to iterate on and rewrite assessment items based on psychometric data and analyses
  • Create insights and customer-facing content based on gathered psychological data
  • Collaborate closely with the research and development team to ideate and improve existing means of gathering psychological data as well as theorize and develop new areas for measurement
  • Work with the research and development team on planning and conducting e.g. clinical trials related to mental health
  • Stay up to date on current research and developments in the field

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Master's or a PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, I/O Psychology or other relevant fields
  • 5 years of experience applying psychological theoretical knowledge either through research or in practice
  • Extensive experience working with surveys and psychometric assessments and operationalizing psychological theoretical and practical knowledge into surveys and assessments
  • Extensive experience in creating content and reports based on psychological data
  • Experience leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies along with analysis
  • Experience in conducting clinical trials is considered an advantage
  • An analytical approach and excellent attention to detail
  • A deep fascination for understanding the human experience
  • Competitive spirit and a clear drive for results
  • Technical aptitude to master a complex, data-oriented product
  • Excellent written / oral communication and presentation skills
  • Independent, organized yet flexible, and able to prioritize work effectively
  • Highly coachable and motivated by continuous learning with a healthy dose of curiosity and a strong bias for action
  • Effective collaborator and influencer in a “win as a team” environment
