Responsibilities
As a PowerBI Developer, you will understand business needs directly from SME's, manipulate raw data, load data into PowerBI, and then create dashboards to support data visualization.
- Work with key stakeholders to gather and document analytics requirements
- Design, build and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI
- Manage PowerBI workspace structure, content organization (datasets and reports/dashboards), security, consistency and access, and tenant
- Write queries to load data into PowerBI from various data warehouses
- Utilize technical expertise to validate datasets
- Present information and findings in a PowerPoint or Excel format
Qualifications
As the Power BI Developer, you are well-spoken, passionate about PowerBI, and accustom to being the SME in PowerBI
- Recent experience as a PowerBI SME in an enterprise environment
- Required skills in Microsoft SQL writing queries and conducting server query tuning
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to present data findings to leadership
- Experience mentoring junior developers and interest in growing within management
