We are looking for:
The Production Planner is responsible for developing production schedules that support long-term S&OP plans and inventory targets for Polymer Additives products manufactured at our Willow Island site
We count on you for:
- Alignment and coordination of internal scheduling of facility resources to meet customer orders and resupply requirements to external warehouses and tollers
- Follow up planning on a daily basis, and directly take corrective actions when needed, reporting major issues to own management.
- Develop and follow up monthly production schemes for the site, with weekly/monthly updates and reporting
- Maintain schedules up-to-date in SAP, release and align process orders.
- Item master maintenance in SAP (MRP parameters)
- Act as key user for the own organization regarding the ERP and planning systems (SAP, Dynasys)
- Keep open communication and collaborate with Operations, Resupply Planners, Packaging and Raw Materials Planners, Purchasing, Site Logistics, Product Management,… to discuss and resolve issues affecting Planning and provide superior customer service
- Ensure the site meets its critical objectives by completing assigned elements of the HSE, Quality and Operation Improvement plans. Support advancement initiatives in the areas of Safety, Zero Defect, End to End and Operations Improvement through utilization of a continuous improvement culture.
- Monitor SMOG inventories and follow up on actions to reduce
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives around tools and processes

- Occasionally provide backup for colleague site Planners
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-5 years of experience in a planning or supply chain position
- APICS certification is a plus
- Bias for Action & Achieving Results

- Good communication skills
- Passion for Excellence
- Understanding of Global Supply Chain and Business processes
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Google Suite and Dynasys
- Knowledge of quality control protocol and systems, complaint handling
- Effectively implement and demonstrate Vision and Values
You will get:
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,539 to $100,674 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
