- Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products in the medical device field
- Identifying, Initiating, recommending, and leading projects to improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, and health/environmental impact
- Performing and guiding technical and validation activities related to new product development and product line extensions
- Leading problem-solving events to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitoring and improving manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology (design of experiments, statistical process control, lean management system, kaizens, DMAIC)
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment/downtime issues
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) OR High School Diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment (course work and internships considered)
- Master's degree or higher in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Experience working in the medical device field
- Experience working in a GMP environment
- Demonstrated project leadership abilities on highly technical and complex projects
