Job Brief
It is the primary responsibility of the Bartender to greet guests, mix and serve drinks and maintain the cleanliness of the bar. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Property policies, practices, and procedures.

- Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes.
- Oversee the overall operation of the outlet bar.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure the accuracy of contracted monies, keeping bank secure at all times.
- Provide Apprentices and Porters direction and coaching to ensure proper operation of the bar and assist them when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure that equipment is in good working order.
- Keep count of tickets and perform cash drops at the end of the shift.
- Ensure correct product is utilized.
- Communicate with managers, co-workers and guests in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees.
- Perform all other job related duties as requested.
Required:
- At least 1 years of previous Bartending experience.
- Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility.
- Working knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
- Working knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes for each drink.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Minimum age requirement is 21
- Obtain Health and Tam Card
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
