Job Description
The Dealer Program Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a best in class experience for a network of window covering dealers in interior and exterior markets (window treatments, awnings, pergolas, exterior screens, etc.). This role manages dealer relationships and develops program elements such as point-of-sale tools and other dealer assets to strengthen brand preference and increase promotion and sales of Somfy products. We are seeking a results-driven individual who is customer-centric in spirit and execution and excited about engaging cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes with impact. This position is intra-departmental and will work closely with the Regional Sales team and Product Marketing team as well as liaise with global teams. We are seeking a hands-on team player with leadership skills that can drive the organization and the program to reach its full potential. Excellent program management, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are required as Somfy operates in a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
- Identify and develop a national dealer network of shop-at home and/or in-store dealers of window coverings, awnings, pergolas, etc. with the support of Regional Sales and Marketing teams.
- Develop effective point-of-sale and dealer marketing assets that promote Somfy’s brand value and solutions and also adhere to global brand guidelines.
- Engage and animate the dealer network through events, panels, promotions, etc. to strengthen product knowledge, brand preference and stay current with industry insights.
- Develop business opportunities for the dealer network through digital lead generation and lead qualification with the support of the Digital Marketing and Inside Sales teams.
- Understand digital marketing data in order to contribute to lead generation plans
- Effectively leverage data in order to prioritize focus areas, coverage gaps, etc. with the support of Data Administrator
- Report on monthly KPIs
- Develop action plans to address opportunities to improve performance as needed.
- Inspire, develop and motivate the team you’ll be managing through coaching and leadership tactics
- Perform other duties and manage special projects when necessary
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent.
- 5 year in successful program management
- 3 year in a management role overseeing a team
- Working knowledge of digital marketing foundations; lead management experience a plus.
- Operating proficiency with Microsoft business software and Salesforce.
- Strong interest in smart home and smart building trends.
- Ability to drive customer focused outcomes and qualify leads and opportunities.
- Understanding of business processes and the complete sales cycle.
- Ability to learn new technologies and to stay up-to-date on trends to support the business.
- Strong organizational, inter-personal, project management, and problem-solving skills.
