1st Shift (7am to 3pm) and 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm) Available
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Loads outbound and unloads inbound materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.
Prepares customer shipments for service parts, export and other shipments: staging, strapping, wrapping and labeling.
Loads customer orders and receives returnable packaging.
Load and unload the truck.
Sorting of returnable packaging coming back from customers logging all tote and pallet quantities on the Daily Tote/Pallet Tracking log. While sorting, conduct an inspection to ensure all packaging is in compliance with customer standards.
Maintains traceability by using AIM to scan to shipment or logging lot numbers on shippers per Customer Standardized Work Instructions.
Checks in inbound raw material, assigns lot numbers in AIM, and prepares for incoming inspection. Moves inspected raw material to stock.
Coordinates with Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to complete PM activities that ensure supplies are readily available.
Sorting out mixed skids of components and applying correct AIM receiving lot numbers.
Printing of Kanban labels and customs invoices for both Tier 1 and Tier 1 customers.
Operates industrial forklift truck, cart or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Perform daily forklift battery pm and fill out the truck log.
Empties the metal chip dumpsters as required.
Transports machined housings, plated housings, and finished goods to appropriate storage areas.
Responsible for making out the proper paperwork for FedEx, UPS and third party billing.
Ensures raw material and Finished Goods FIFO (first in / first out) is maintained.
Utilizes standardized work documents to ensure proper procedures for staging and receiving are being followed. Responsible for communicating shipment concerns to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor or PC Manager to assure 100% on time delivery is maintained
Responsible for keeping a minimum inventory of packaging required for export and service parts, including but not limited to: plastic bags, wooden skids, VCI sheets, export boxes and service part labels.
Maintain and provide a safe work area and work in a safe manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and 1 to 2 years of experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents and regulations.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
