Full Time Nanny

Sommet Nannies is recruiting for a loving family residing in River North in search of a dedicated nanny to provide attentive care for their 3-month-old son. With a schedule spanning Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, flexibility within this timeframe is appreciated. While occasional assistance during date nights or weekends is welcomed, it's not mandatory. Light travel, anticipated 2-3 times a year and potentially international, adds an exciting dimension to the role. As parking is unavailable at their home, the family prefers a candidate comfortable with public transit. They share their space with a small dog and two cats, requiring occasional care and walks for the pup. Both parents may occasionally work from home, with dad utilizing a separate office space and mom occasionally working in communal areas.

Extra duties encompass bottle preparation, light laundry, dishwashing, grocery shopping, common area upkeep, baby's toy rotation, and occasional vacuuming. The family values organization, love, nurturing demeanor, engagement, understanding of developmental milestones and sleep training methods, energy, proactiveness, love for infant care, reliability, and self-starting abilities in their ideal nanny. The preferred start date for this role is as soon as possible, with April 1st being the ideal timeframe.

Compensation: $25-$32/hour

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses 1 week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, healthcare stipend is offered if needed

Requirements:

• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience that can be verified
• 2 years of infant experience (non-family)
• Holds a valid US driver’s license
• Able to provide a minimum of 3 outstanding references from prior childcare positions
• Be fully fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States
• Clean driving record
