Inside Sales Manager

Capital Electric has an Inside Sales Manager position available at our Richmond, VA location. The person in this role is responsible for managing and supporting the inside sales team, developing the team’s skills necessary to be successful, and maintaining a sound relationship with customers and vendors to ensure the integrity and profitability at Capital Electric.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise sales team to insure good customer service and long-term customer development
- Work with sales team to ensure quotations are handled in a timely fashion
- Plan, budget, and monitor all areas of sales
- Develop and maintain vendor/customer relationships
- Promote courtesy, politeness, and a positive attitude with customers and employees
- Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
- Other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or GED
- 3-5 years inside sales experience – electrical distribution industry preferred
- 1-2 years supervisory experience
- Proven leadership and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above average proficiency in M/S – Excel, Word, PPT
- Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
