Job Description Summary
We are currently looking for an SERVER with flexible availability.The Restaurant Server is in charge of the service at Haven Point's restaurant. The server is in charge of greeting guests and taking orders. The ideal server always provides excellent customer service to both external and internal guests. Maintains an upbeat, positive attitude, a friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy, and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Smiles, frequent eye contact, and a friendly tone of voice are used to project warmth and friendliness.
Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs, and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates the needs of the guest and provides prompt, flawless service.
Job Description
Employees must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
Ensure work areas are properly stocked and prepare requisitions as needed.
Ensure work areas are neat and clean.
Check that trays and tables are set to standards.
Ensure quality control of all menus concerning cleanliness and appearance.
Assist in the outlets when necessary.
Ensure that tables are cleared promptly.
Ensure proper settlement of checks.
Ensure orders are delivered on time.
Ensure food quality.
Ensure communication with the oncoming shift.
Handling guest complaints or special requests, communicate to management when necessary.
Be capable of training and performing all duties required of all food and beverage outlet employees.
Hold pre-meal meetings daily to monitor service and promote up-selling.
Check staffing levels and adjust according to business demand.
Requisition linen as needed.
Ensure the property is free of trays and trash.
Control payroll costs in food and beverage outlets.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Education & Experience:
A High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a related field is preferred.
At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field is required.
Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
Physical requirements:
Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Pay Range
Pay Range $ 16.00 $ / hr PLUS TIPS Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
