What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Soni?
PE-backed creative Advertising juggernaut has an immediate need for a Controller with at least 7 years of experience. The successful candidate comes from a multi-entity environment and will manage all daily accounting functions including, weekly cash flow reporting, month end close, preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages, while managing a staff of 8-10.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years work experience at the Controller level
- Experience preparing financial statements and reporting packages for multiple entities, intercompany transactions and consolidations
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, cash flow management
- Excellent communication and internal customer service mindset
Preferred Skills:
- CPA and/or public accounting experience
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- Experience with Brex, Versapay or similar expense/ACH software
- Advertising/Media/Production industry experience
- PE experience
Compensation: $165,000 - $185,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
