Data Analyst

Soni's client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making at the organization. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and forecasting to support various business functions, collaborating closely with the Analytics team and AVP. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into technical specifications, extracting and analyzing data, and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for business intelligence applications and data warehouses.
• Extract, analyze, and identify data trends to support business rules and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain reports using SSRS, Power BI, Excel, and ad-hoc queries in policy/claims systems.
• Utilize tools like Python, R, SQL, and data visualization/BI tools to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.
• Enhance tabular data models for efficient reporting and analysis.
• Train users on business intelligence applications and resolve any issues.
• Collaborate on managing enterprise metadata and designing data structures.
• Lead or support business intelligence projects and cross-functional collaborations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SQL, and BI tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate effectively, and communicate well.
